The Gift of GivingSeptember 2, 2016December 17, 2019Sky

The holidays will be here before you know it!  Christmas can be a magical time, with the Christmas music dancing in our ears, the smell of pine, cinnamon and apples in the cool crisp air, and beautiful lights twinkling on the trees.  The atmosphere can lift our spirits and put a spring in our step.  One thing I love about Christmas is it can remind us to be good to one another.   Although it is also a hectic time with so many tasks to be done, which is why it’s smart to have a plan.  When you are able to prepare it makes everything less chaotic and run a little smoother.  This is why I created the Christmas Planner to help stay focused and on track.

The planner allows me to look forward and make a plan.  It enables me to plan which items I will be baking or making by hand to give as gifts.  I have found that when I use a list, it helps me stay organized and I know exactly what needs to be done.    Having a list comes in handy when shopping because you can stick to the list, prevent compulsive purchases, and in the long run save money.

One of the core values of Christmas is giving to others, but sometimes you want to give more than you can afford.  This is where having a budget can help to keep more money in my wallet.  I consider using the savings plan and having a budget a secret weapon.

It’s never too early to start planning, so get ready to get your holiday cheer on.  May your sleigh bells ring and your smiles glistening; with a smooth ride through the holiday season.  From my home to yours, I wish you and your family an excellent Merry Christmas.

Happy Planning!
